Scot Forge is seeking an Apprenticeship - Maintenance at an entry level in Spring Grove, IL. This part-time, hands-on role lets you apply classroom learning to real-world manufacturing challenges.

You will gain experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical basics, and blueprint reading while supporting maintenance tasks. Scot Forge offers an employee-owned environment with comprehensive benefits and a long history serving critical industries.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with mechanical repair.
• Experience with troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical.
• Understanding of mechanics and mechanisms.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and professionalism.
• Desire to work hard and willing to learn.
• Ability to perform frequent lifting to 65 lbs.

Scot Forge is a premier manufacturer with locations in Spring Grove, IL, Clinton, WI and Franklin Park, IL. We manufacture large scale metal forgings. We partner with local schools to provide classroom education combined with a hands‑on experience with a focus on –

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Electrical and Program Logic Controls (PLC)
• Blueprint reading and drawings
• Understanding of industrial safety practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
