The Apprentice Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining the parts warehouse by receiving, storing parts, and filling customer orders under supervision. Other responsibilities include warehouse cleanliness, occasional deliveries, and developing skills in shipping, contamination control, hose assembly, forklift operation, customer service, and ERP systems.

Safety
  • Promote and manage safety, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees, vendors, and clients.
  • Complete Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) prior to tasks.
  • Maintain clean and clutter-free work areas.
  • Adhere to PPE requirements.
Essential Functions
Shipping and Receiving
  • Perform inventory counts.
  • Pack and deliver parts for customer orders.
Contamination Control
  • Repackage damaged parts, manage storage, and clean work areas.
Hose Assembly
  • Identify and assemble reusable hoses, salvage fittings, and demonstrate proper contamination control.
Forklift, Customer Service, and ERP
  • Obtain forklift and other certifications.
  • Navigate ERP systems and perform customer interactions.
Continued Development
  • Participate in ongoing training and develop skills to meet internal and external expectations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime and on call.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: 6 months customer service experience.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
Physical Characteristics
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform physical tasks in various environments.
