Job summary

Team Fishel is hiring Apprentice Underground Electric Lineworkers for our Henrico, VA operation. The program provides rigorous training and on-the-job skill development toward becoming an Underground Electric Lineworker.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license (Class A CDL strongly desired), experience or education in underground linework, and willingness to participate in after-hours studies. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license; Class A CDL strongly desired
• Previous experience or education in underground electric linework preferred
• Participate in the Apprentice Lineworker training program including after-hours studies
• Provide support for Lineworkers in underground facility environment
• Assemble & disassemble hardware for underground installations with instruction
• Other duties as assigned
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Participate in and complete a rigorous training program
• Develop on-the-job skills to become an Underground Electric Lineworker
• Perform duties related to construction, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of high voltage underground systems
• Support Journeyman Lineworkers in underground facilities
• Assist with assembling/disassembling hardware in de-energized environments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Description

Team Fishel is hiring Apprentice Underground Electric Lineworkers for our Henrico, VA operation. The purpose of an Apprentice Underground Lineworker at Team Fishel is to participate and successfully complete a rigorous training program and develop on-the-job skills on the way to becoming an Underground Electric Lineworker. Apprentice Lineworkers will be able to competently and confidently perform in a highly skilled and safe manner all the duties associated with the construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage underground electrical power systems.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license, holding a Class A Commercial Driver License strongly desired
• Previous experience or education in underground electric linework preferred
• Participate in the Apprentice Lineworker training program including after-hours studies
• Provide support for Lineworkers operating in underground facility environment
• Assemble & disassemble hardware for underground installations in a de-energized environment with instruction from Journeyman Lineworker
• Other duties as assigned
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus

Starting pay range of $18 - $20 / hour depending on experience.
