Job summary

Team Fishel in Hampton, VA is hiring Apprentice Underground Electric Lineworkers to join our Hampton operations. You will train through a rigorous program and gain hands-on skills toward becoming an Underground Electric Lineworker, working on high voltage underground power systems under strict safety protocols.

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, with opportunities for advancement as you complete the program and transition to journeyman-level duties.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license; Class A CDL strongly desired.
• Previous experience or education in underground electric linework preferred.
• Participate in the Apprentice Lineworker training program including after-hours studies.
• Provide support for Lineworkers operating in underground facility environment.
• Assemble & disassemble hardware for underground installations in a de-energized environment with instruction from Journeyman Lineworker.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.

Description

Team Fishel is hiring Apprentice Underground Electric Lineworkers for our Hampton, VA operation. The purpose of an Apprentice Underground Lineworker at Team Fishel is to participate and successfully complete a rigorous training program and develop on-the-job skills on the way to becoming an Underground Electric Lineworker. Apprentice Lineworkers will be able to competently and confidently perform in a highly skilled and safe manner all the duties associated with the construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage underground electrical power systems.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license, holding a Class A Commercial Driver License strongly desired
• Previous experience or education in underground electric linework preferred
• Participate in the Apprentice Lineworker training program including after-hours studies
• Provide support for Lineworkers operating in underground facility environment
• Assemble & disassemble hardware for underground installations in a de-energized environment with instruction from Journeyman Lineworker
• Other duties as assigned
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus

Starting pay range of $18 - $20 / hour depending on experience.
