Buckeye Partners is seeking an Apprentice Terminal Operator with 2+ years of related experience in terminal, pipeline or marine operations to join our team. Learn the operation and maintenance of terminal, pipeline, marine, and rail assets as applicable.

Role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork; you will support loading, storage, and product movements while advancing skills in operations and emergency response.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Available during non-work hours as required and may be on-call; overtime possible.
• Able to work with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Train and apply knowledge for maintenance of terminal loading rack, storage and equipment; keep in good working order and appearance.
• Learn to handle receipt, storage, and distribution of petroleum products via pipeline, rail, and marine dock.
• Familiarize with terminal regulations and environmental/safety directives to ensure compliance.
• Maintain safe operations and assist with regulatory communications as needed.
• Support Asset Team and Buckeye terminal operations in special projects.
