Job summary

Buckeye Partners Lp is seeking an Apprentice Terminal Operator in Columbus, OH to learn the operation and maintenance of our terminal, pipeline, marine, and rail assets. You will gain hands-on experience in receipt, storage, measurement, and quality control of petroleum products at the field location.

Ideal candidates have 0-2+ years in terminal or related operations, a strong mechanical mindset, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. This is a full-time role based at our Columbus premises.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2+ years related experience in terminal, pipeline or marine operations preferred.
• General understanding of equipment and maintenance of pumps, meters, truck loading rack, and dock facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and apply knowledge for maintenance and repair of terminal loading rack, storage and related equipment.
• Learn to receive, store, and distribute petroleum products via pipeline, rail, and marine dock.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including health, safety, security and environmental requirements.
