Lithia & Driveway is seeking an Apprentice Technician at Troy Ford in Troy to join our service team. You will be mentored by Ford-certified technicians, receive hands-on training, and build the skills required for a successful automotive service career.

This full-time, on-site role offers growth opportunities within a leading automotive group. Be prepared to assist with inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and diagnostic learnings while working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in an automotive shop.
• Enrollment in or completion of an automotive training program.
• Interest in automotive maintenance.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Perform basic maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections.
• Learn diagnostic and repair procedures under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Use and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Complete work according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Document services performed and recommendations.
• Participate in development programs.
• Support team members in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Follow all safety procedures.
