Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking automotive technicians to join our busy service department in Latham. Walk-ins are welcome, and you will be guided by the service manager to support a high-volume schedule.

Experience in auto mechanics and a valid NYS inspection license are required, with the ability to operate larger vehicles and maintain safety. Comprehensive benefits and a clear path for earnings are offered.

• Must have previous auto mechanical experience.
• NYS Inspection license required.
• Operate a larger vehicle; valid license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Guide large trucks and maintain a clean work area.
• Report to the service manager for this off-site position.
• Navigate a tablet and use repair orders.
• Complete repair order write-ups and close repair orders.
• Complete multi-point inspections.

Latham Ford is busier than ever, and we need to add muscle to our service team to gear up for the busy season! If you have experience as an automotive technician, or have mechanical experience, we want to talk to you!

What is expected?

• Technician’s will guide a large truck and maintain a clean work area.
• For this off-site position, you will report to the service manager
• Navigate a tablet
• Perform repair order write up
• Complete and close repair order
• Complete multi-point inspection

Who are we looking for?

• We require previous auto mechanical experience.

• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record !
• Collaborate with teams while independently managing workload

Actual pay offered may vary depending on experience, job-related knowledge/bonus/commission, location.
