Job summary

North Shore Honda, part of the Dilawri Group of Companies, is seeking an Apprentice Technician to support the Service Department with vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will learn on the job under a Service Manager, building core skills and contributing to high‑quality automotive work.

You’ll document work accurately, assist licensed technicians, and follow brand and dealership standards while developing a long‑term technician pipeline. Eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a registered automotive apprenticeship program.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and develop technical skills.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Document all repairs, inspections, and services performed in a clear and accurate manner.
• Assist licensed technicians with daily repair and maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform additional service requests and basic mechanical tasks under supervision.
• Road test vehicles before and after servicing to verify repair needs and completed work (as permitted by training level).
• Notify the Service Advisor of any additional required repairs, parts, or labor identified during service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Service Manager or designated supervisor.

Position Overview

The Apprentice Technician atNorth Shore Honda plays an important role in supporting the Service Department by assisting withvehicle maintenance, repair activities, and overall shop efficiency. Reportingto the Service Manager, this position provides hands ‑ on learningand mentorship opportunities while contributing to the team ’ s commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and high ‑ qualityautomotive work.

This role supports the dealership’s long ‑ termtechnician pipeline by developing core technical skills, maintaining accuratedocumentation, and ensuring all service operations follow brand and dealershipstandards.

The expectedpayfor this position is$23.04 - $46.08 per hour.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
