Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is seeking an Apprentice to learn HVACR, electrical and plumbing trades through a structured NCCER program.

You will gain hands-on experience outdoors in different environments, lay out and install commercial duct work, and assist with installing HVAC equipment alongside skilled technicians.

Safety is our top priority; you’ll use a variety of power and hand tools, complete classes and on‑the‑job study, and work toward certification as you progress with the team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience using hand tools and tape measure is a plus.
• Be punctual and reliable; work as a team; safety is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and install commercial duct work in various job settings.
• Unload, move, and handle commercial-scale duct work.
• Finish and seal duct work; build and install duct hangers.
• Work at heights using ladders, lifts, or roofs; assist with HVAC equipment installation.
• Learn to use power and hand tools; complete classes and on-line study.
