Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow directions.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and operate power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of low-voltage security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
• Pull, route, secure, and dress low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A/fiber/coaxial).
• Assist with installing readers, door contacts, locks, cameras, and control panels.
• Terminate, label, and test copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and project drawings.
• Install cable pathways (conduit, trays, raceways, sleeves, J-hooks).
• Maintain installation documentation and ensure clean, safe work sites.
• Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
