Job summary

Loyal Source in Austin, TX seeks a Security Installation Technician to support commercial security deployments. The role installs, programs, tests, and commissions access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems with a focus on high-quality workmanship.

Fire alarm installation experience is highly preferred as we support integrated low-voltage projects. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to work on diverse deployments with customer-focused service.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial security installation experience.
Experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
Experience commissioning and troubleshooting commercial security platforms.
Strong low-voltage installation knowledge and field experience.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, program, test, and commission commercial security systems.
Install and terminate low-voltage cabling for access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
Configure cameras, servers, panels, readers, locks, and associated field devices.
Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
Complete customer training and system demonstrations upon project completion.
Conduct system testing and verify proper operation of all installed devices.
Maintain project documentation, installation reports, and equipment records.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Manage inventory, tools, vehicle stock, and company equipment.
Support system upgrades, expansions, and modifications as required.
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional jobsite presence.
