Job summary

Upchurch is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our commercial mechanical construction team. You will work on large-scale projects such as schools, hospitals, and industrial buildings under Journeyman and Master Plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and career growth.

You'll learn to read blueprints, cut and fit pipe, maintain a clean site, and follow safety protocols while participating in structured apprenticeship classes for skill development.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a state-approved plumbing apprenticeship program.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of job site safety and compliance.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of piping systems including water, gas, drainage, and vent lines.

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our commercial mechanical construction team. This position offers hands-on training and career growth under the guidance of experienced Journeyman and Master Plumbers on large-scale commercial projects such as schools, hospitals, and industrial buildings.
