Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber for commercial mechanical construction projects. You will install, repair, and test plumbing systems in schools, hospitals, offices, and industrial facilities, reading plans and specs to ensure code-compliant installations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with general contractors and other trades, adhering to OSHA safety standards, mentoring apprentices, and documenting workmanship for quality assurance across projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumbing License (state-specific).
• Minimum 4–5 years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong understanding of job site safety and compliance.

• Install, inspect, and test plumbing systems, including water, gas, drainage, and vent piping.
• Set fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pumps.

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs as needed.

Position Summary
