Job summary

The Walgreens training program offers earning while learning, a PTCB pathway, and hands-on development to become certified. Prior retail experience helps, with strong math and computer skills valued.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English reading/writing/speaking.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings & weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for counting and dosing prescriptions.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a courteous, helpful customer experience and educate patients as needed.
• Handle cash and operate the register in a compliant, accurate manner.
• Participate in inventory management and stock maintenance.
