Job summary

ACI Coatings - Richland Branch is hiring for Apprentice Painters who are eager to learn, with a solid work ethic and regular attendance. Construction or painting experience is a plus but not required. On-the-job training is provided and benefits are strong.

Per diem, lodging and other hourly incentives are offered for out-of-town projects, with overtime and a robust benefits package including 401(k) matching and generous insurance coverages.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Good driving record (no DUI’s or excessive moving violations).
• Pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop good communication and understanding of general vocabulary.
• Engage daily in on-the-job training.
• Observe and identify safety inspections and reporting requirements.
• Observe and practice quality control steps to improve productivity.
• Understand safety paperwork deadlines and PPE requirements.
• Learn coating vocabulary and basic spray technique concepts.
