Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC invites energetic Electrical Apprentices to join a long-term data center project in Jackson, Mississippi. This role offers wages from $22 to $25 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will support Journeymen in conduit installation, learn bending tools, and assist in wiring and cable tray work on site. Candidates should demonstrate safety rule knowledge, reliability, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug tests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable safety rules is required.
• Assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in installing conduit (rigid, aluminum, plastibond, PVC).
• Learn to use or operate conduit benders (mechanical, electric, hydraulic).
• Able to fabricate and install conduit supports and wire/cable in tray or conduit.
• Pass post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in installation of conduit and cable tray.
• Learn to operate conduit bending tools and related equipment.
• Support in installation of air pipe and instrument tubing as directed.
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to safety standards on site.
• Follow directions and complete tasks for long-term data center projects.

The Position:

We are looking for positive, energetic Electrical Apprentices working in Data Centers, for a long-term assignment, with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• NO PER DIEM
• Have knowledge of applicable safety rules
• Must be able to assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in the installation of rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, and PVC conduit
• Must be able to use or willing to learn to use mechanical, electric, and hydraulic conduit benders
• Able to fabricate and install conduit supports
• Able to assist in the installation of cable tray and tube tray
• Able to install wire and cable by hand and by machine in cable tray and in conduit
• Able to assist in the installation of air pipe and instrument tubing; to utilize a variety of electric and hydraulic hand tools and pneumatic tools
• Must be able to follow specific directions, work within the standards of accuracy, capable of maintaining proper housekeeping, and able to carry out work requirements of demolition, handling trash, and assisting in maintenance and construction
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
