By-Tor Contracting Inc. is seeking motivated Apprentice Millwork Installers to join our field operations team.

This entry-level role provides hands-on training alongside Lead Installers, with a clear path to becoming an independent installer within about one year, in residential millwork and door installation. Through our Lowe's partnership, you’ll have year-round work, comprehensive training, and a structured career growth plan, with opportunities to advance to Lead Installer and earn increases

Qualifications

• Some hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, or home improvement preferred.
• Strong interest in learning a skilled trade and growing into an installer role.
• Positive attitude and ability to take direction from Lead Installers.
• Good communication and professionalism in customer-facing environments.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working on job sites.
• EPA Lead Certification a plus (training assistance provided if needed)

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with residential interior and exterior door installations
• Learn proper measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing techniques
• Prepare and maintain tools, materials, and work areas
• Protect customer homes and maintain clean, organized job sites
• Follow installation standards, safety procedures, and company guidelines
• Communicate respectfully with homeowners and team members
• Travel to job sites as required (per diem provided when applicable)
• Demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
