Job summary

By-Tor Contracting Inc. is seeking motivated Apprentice Millwork Installers to join our field operations team on Lowe’s projects in residential settings in Toledo, OH.

This entry-level role includes hands-on training alongside Lead Installers, with a plan to advance to an independent installer within about one year.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with hands-on training in millwork and door installation.
• Interest in pursuing a skilled trade and growing into an installer role.
• Ability to perform physical work on job sites and maintain professionalism with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with residential interior and exterior door installations.
• Learn measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing techniques.
• Prepare and maintain tools, materials, and work areas.
• Protect customer homes and maintain clean, organized job sites.
• Follow installation standards and safety procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with homeowners and team members.
• Travel to job sites as required (per diem provided when applicable).
• Demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
