Job summary

Meijer seeks a reliable meat department team member to support daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. This role follows the production schedule to ensure accurate, appealing meat cuts for customers.

Candidates should be able to handle weights/measures, respect safety and sanitation standards, and assist with packaging and inventory control within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in presenting and packaging products.
• Experience using computer-assisted ordering applications.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for assisting in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual will also follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
