Job summary

Cellone’s Italian Bread Co. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking Maintenance Technicians to repair equipment and perform plant maintenance in a fast-paced bakery setting.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, ability to read schematics and blueprints, and adherence to safety and GMP practices; experience with food production environments is preferred. This position offers training, shift rotation, and opportunities for growth in a large baking operation.

Qualifications

• Willing to work training period shifts and rotating shifts.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
• 2 years’ experience in food industry, packaging, manufacturing.
• Experience in fabrication such as cutting and welding (mig, tig or stick).
• Experience with electrical systems including 480VAC, 240 VAC, 120VAC, 24VAC and 24VDC power.
• Experience with replacing and programming VFDs, servo motors and controllers, PLC I/O cards and safety modules.
• Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment such as calipers and tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance of machinery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, refrigeration systems, scissor lift.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals; diagnose problems.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to GMP safety rules.
• Install and repair plant equipment and control systems as needed.
