Job summary

KCI, LLC is seeking an entry-level Commercial Low Voltage Technician to join our Winston-Salem area team. The role focuses on pulling cable and supporting installation tasks in commercial environments, with on-the-job training for termination, labeling, and basic testing.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and can travel locally in the Triad area. Training and growth into higher-level technician roles are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimal low voltage experience required; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Comfortable pulling cable and performing physical, hands-on work (ladders, lifts, tight spaces, etc.).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
• Basic hand tools familiarity is a plus but not required.

• Pull and route low voltage cable on commercial job sites.
• Support lead technicians and project teams with installation tasks.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follow site safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Location: Triad Area, NC (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, and surrounding communities) client HQ based in Winston-Salem

About The Role

We're looking for an entry-level Low Voltage Technician to join a growing commercial team based out of Winston-Salem, NC. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in low voltage/structured cabling. The primary skill needed on day one is the ability to pull cable; everything else (termination, testing, system-specific work) will be trained on the job.

• Pull and route low voltage cable (structured cabling, data/voice, and related systems) on commercial job sites
• Support lead technicians and project teams with day-to-day installation tasks
• Learn and assist with termination, labeling, and basic testing procedures as training progresses
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Follow site safety protocols and company procedures at all times
• Travel locally throughout the Triad area daily; occasional travel outside the region as project needs require
