Commercial Dock & Door / Timbers-Kovar in Mentor, OH is seeking an Apprentice Loading Dock and/or Automatic / Commercial / Industrial Door Technician. You will work with experienced technicians to troubleshoot, service, and install doors and dock equipment, receiving training from manufacturers and on-the-job mentoring.

This is a great entry path to learn PLC technology and advance in a growing company. Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical aptitude.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Assist troubleshooting, servicing, and installing doors, dock equipment, and other commercial systems.
• Work with seasoned technicians and receive manufacturer training as well as on-the-job mentoring.
• Learn PLC technology and grow technical knowledge on major projects.

Because of continued growth, we are looking for an Apprentice Loading Dock and/or Automatic / Commercial / Industrial Door Technicians to join our team at our Mentor, OH location. This position will work with our seasoned technicians in troubleshooting, servicing, and installing doors, dock equipment and other commercial equipment. You will receive training from our manufacturers as well as on the job training and mentoring from our experienced technicians.

Compensation

Hourly pay is negotiable based upon experience.
