Job summary

1-800-Plumber + Air of Triad in High Point, NC is seeking a motivated Helper / Apprentice who enjoys teamwork and learning. You will assist licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians on installations, repairs and service calls.

We emphasize a friendly, customer-focused approach and on-the-job training throughout the year. The ideal candidate works well in a team but can also work independently and maintain a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of current regulations within the plumbing field.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Ability to use plumbing tools.
• Good physical condition.
• Customer service experience.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of licensed plumber or HVAC tech on the job.
• Follow health and safety regulations
• Perform miscellaneous task on plumbing and HVAC systems
• Report documents of any problems and action taken
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
• Be able to cut assemble pipes with knowledge to existing infrastructure
