Job summary

1-800-Plumber +Air of Columbus is seeking a motivated Helper/Apprentice to support our plumbers, HVAC technicians, and installers on installations, repairs, and service in Columbus, OH. The role emphasizes teamwork, learning, customer focus, and the potential for top pay with on-the-job training.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who can also work independently, maintaining a friendly and positive attitude toward customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Ability to use plumbing tools is required.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Good physical condition is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of a licensed plumber on the job.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks on plumbing systems.
• Report documents of problems and actions taken.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues.
• Cut and assemble pipes with knowledge of existing infrastructure.
