Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Re-lamp all interior and exterior light fixtures for NJPAC, Site Office, Military Parking Garage and Lucent Center.
• Assist the engineer on duty.
• Keep mechanical spaces clean and organized.
• Maintain boiler and cooling tower chemical treatment systems.
• Report any problems to the engineer on duty.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Special Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry Level position.
• Must attend Local 68 four‑year training program as condition of employment.
• Able to lift and carry heavy objects from 50 to 100 pounds. Must have knowledge of the safest methods to be used in performing heavy manual labor.
• Required to be or become a member of Local 68 of the International Union of Operating Engineers.
