LumaNation Electric is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to support commercial power and controls projects in the Dallas area. You will work with Journeymen to learn lighting, power distribution, and control systems while gaining hands-on field experience.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Apprentice Electrician License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Journeymen with conduit, wiring, and distribution equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe jobsite by following OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Operate basic power tools and hand tools with precision.
• Prepare wire pulls, junction boxes, and panel terminations under supervision.
• Inspect incoming materials and tools to keep the site stocked and efficient.

The Opportunity

You will work alongside experienced Journeymen and Foremen to master commercial power, lighting, and control systems. This role allows you to build a long-term technical career while gaining hands-on field experience with a company that invests in your growth. How You Will Make An Impact

• Assist licensed Journeymen with installing commercial conduit, wiring, and electrical distribution equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite by following all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Operate basic power tools, hand tools, and material handling equipment with precision and care.
• Prepare wire pulls, junction boxes, and panel terminations under direct field supervision.
• Inspect incoming project materials and tools to ensure the jobsite remains fully stocked and efficient.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and commitment to representing company values.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial environments.
• Active Texas Apprentice Electrician License and a valid driver's license.
• Solid understanding of basic electrical theory, National Electrical Code (NEC), and jobsite safety.
• Ability to read basic schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in active field environments.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Enrolled in or graduate of a formal electrical trade school or apprenticeship program.
• Prior experience working on commercial ground-up construction or controls projects.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification.
