Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Minimum one year distribution electrical power line work experience, or equivalent line-related experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of overhead distribution/transmission lines, structures and equipment.
• During six months, work on conductors and equipment energized up to 260 volts under general supervision.
• After six months, work on conductors and equipment energized up to 600 volts under supervision.
• Operate cutouts, line switches, reclosers and other sectionalizing devices under supervision.
• Assemble, install, maintain, remove and inspect conductors, fixtures and equipment on overhead/underground facilities.
• Load/unload, install, maintain and remove poles, towers and structures.
• Attend and participate in training and assist in training others.
