Qualifications

• We will provide the technical training you need to succeed in the two-year apprenticeship.
• Ideal Technician Apprentice is a logical problem solver with an interest in engineering and technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights/weekends/holidays.
• Willingness to uphold Republic Services values including safety, ethics and respect.
• Willingness to travel to Dallas, Texas for 9 weeks of in-person training.
• Training starts January 11th, 2027 in Dallas, TX.
• Permanent shop assignment in Eastover-SC.
• Pay increase after graduation and for completing milestones.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Participate in hands-on training and on-the-job training under supervision.
• Develop skills in electrical, hydraulics, air systems and braking components.
• Engage in mentorship and leadership development throughout the program.
