Job summary

Keystone in Indiana is seeking a dedicated applicator to apply dry fertilizer and lime to customer fields, safely operating and maintaining equipment, and communicating field conditions to the location manager. This role offers growth toward a Custom Applicator position based on annual performance.

You will calibrate machinery, assist with loading and transporting products, follow all safety rules and regulations, keep logs up to date, and support other team members during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet state MV policy.
• Must obtain and maintain state commercial applicator certification.
• May be asked to obtain and maintain an Ag CDL.

Responsibilities

• Apply dry fertilizer and lime safely and efficiently.
• Use application equipment to apply correct products and rates.
• Assist in mixing, loading, unloading, and transporting crop protection and fertilizer products.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules (including PPE).
• Maintain safety equipment and logs; calibrate and perform preventive maintenance.
• Rinse and wash equipment per regulatory guidelines.
• Assist team with field operations, scouting, and product transport.
• Follow OSHA and DOT policies and procedures.
