Job summary

National Property Consulting & Management (NPC&M) seeks an Apprentice Carpenter in Massachusetts to join a field-based team. You will work as a helper alongside an experienced Facility Mechanic on service calls and small construction projects across New England.

Flexibility to work day and night shifts is required; travel to client sites is part of the role, with hands-on mentorship and structured on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position for candidates ready to learn the trade under supervision.
• Trade school or vocational training is a plus but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication are essential.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to travel to client sites and work day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Learn proper carpentry techniques under a Facility Mechanic.
• Assist with loading/unloading, tools, and maintaining job sites.
• Provide daily progress updates and photos to the supervisor.
• Assist with project layout and planning coordination.
• Support with various carpentry, drywall, flooring, and related tasks.
