Job summary

National Property Consulting & Management (NPC&M) is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Carpenter based in Manchester, NH, to join a growing team. This full-time field-based role supports an experienced Facility Mechanic on service calls and small projects across New England, building hands-on carpentry, drywall, flooring, and related skills.

The role requires flexibility to travel to client sites, day and night shifts, and no prior construction experience is required.

Qualifications

• No prior construction experience required—entrance-level role learning under an experienced Facility Mechanic.
• Trade school or vocational training in carpentry is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills set.
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills: MS Outlook, MS Word, among others.
• Travel as required to support assignments.
• Night shift availability.
• Qualified candidates must complete criminal background, driving background, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Work directly under the supervision of an assigned Facility Mechanic, learning proper trade techniques and daily job procedures.
• Assist with loading/unloading, tools, equipment, and materials, and keep job sites clean and organized.
• Daily communication/reporting to the Facility Mechanic, Facility Service Coordinator and/or Manager.
• Assist with coordination of plans and layout of overall project.
• Provide daily progress photos or before/after photos of work.
• Provide daily and constant communication and field pictures.
• Support coordination with customer needs as necessary.
• Complete misc. carpentry, maintenance, flooring, drywall/framing, concrete tasks as directed.
