Job summary

Teema Group is hiring an Apprentice Carpenter for bathroom renovations in Charlotte, NC. You will learn from lead carpenters, assist in demolition through trim, and support subfloor and tile prep on residential projects.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage ($18–$22/hour) with mileage reimbursement and occasional completion bonuses. Full-time, in-office position with growth toward Journeyman status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of residential carpentry and construction practices
• Familiarity with hand and power tools (e.g., miter saw, circular saw, drill/driver)
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Demolition & Prep: gut bathrooms, remove fixtures, tile, cabinets, drywall
• Framing & Structural: assist with stud framing for walls and niches
• Drywall & Backer Board: install cement board and moisture membranes
• Trim & Millwork: measure, cut, and install baseboards, casing, crown molding
• Subfloor & Floor Prep: repair subfloors and prep for tile
• Tool & Material Management: organize tools and load/unload equipment
• Site Safety & Cleanliness: follow OSHA PPE guidelines and keep sites clean
