Job summary

Dreambright Custom Designs, based in Coral Springs, FL, is seeking a full-time Apprentice Carpenter to assist senior carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for home theatres, custom furniture, and specialty installations.

Daily tasks include using hand and power tools, supporting framing and finish carpentry, keeping a clean, safe workshop, and helping with setup and installation at client locations.

Qualifications

• Foundational carpentry skills and interest in developing advanced carpentry techniques.
• Experience reading measurements and following technical drawings.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Beneficial: previous woodworking or related trade experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior carpenters with measuring, cutting and assembling materials for home theatres, custom furniture and specialty installations.
• Use hand and power tools to support framing and finish carpentry work.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and help with setup and installation at client locations.
• Learn company standards and follow detailed design plans.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
