Job summary
PACK Power, LLC is seeking a traveling field worker for medium/high voltage construction projects across the United States. The role involves on-site labor, safe operations, equipment signaling, and hand-tool tasks at substations and related infrastructure.
The position requires readiness to travel up to 100% with 1–10 months per project, performing manual tasks, conduit installation, and routine safety documentation while supporting team objectives.
Qualifications
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for safety principles
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; perform these operations using units, weight measurement and volume

Medium Voltage Division | Field | Rosebud, Texas
Responsible for assisting with other craft workers in physical labor on jobsites while maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site and supporting the overall project.
You’ll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build nation-wide medium and/or high voltage electrical construction projects. This is a traveling position (up to 100%), where you will be onsite at a project location. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. You’ll spend 1-10 months on average per project.

Our Medium Voltage Division delivers comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions for renewable energy collection systems and medium voltage electrical infrastructure. Our expertise includes collection systems, medium voltage distribution, and substations that efficiently connect renewable generation assets to the electrical grid.
- Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
- Complete all required Safety documentation
- Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and
- adjustment of machinery to load, offload, push and pull
- Level earth to fine grade specifications using shovel or other hand tool
- Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel or screed
- Position, join, align and connect pumps, motors and other mechanical or metal parts
- Apply caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices
- Grind, sand or polish surfaces such as concrete and steel, using abrasive tools or
- machines
- Perform tasks involving use of hands and tools such as torquing/tensioning bolts and
- studs, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber,
- dismantling forms, removing forms from concrete, and demolitions, cleanup, use of
- jackhammers, etc.
- May be required to install electrical conduit and grounding as well as pull wire through conduit and make wire connections on substation equipment
- Perform care and maintenance of assigned tools
- Perform substation labor on construction sites
- May be required to travel to different jobsites on limited notice
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and zero to twelve months of related experience in construction
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be
- affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for
- working toward Safety principles
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

- Understanding of Basic Electrical Systems
- Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
