Job summary

Residential Elevators, Inc. is launching an Apprenticeship Program for an Elevator Installation Mechanic. The entry-level apprentice will receive hands-on training and mentorship to install high-quality home elevators.

The program offers growth potential, with promotion opportunities within 3–12 months, a company vehicle, cell phone, and tools provided as you progress. Full-time role with substantial field travel and long hours when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Elevator experience not required, but helpful; On the Job training provided.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time and work long hours if needed.
• Must not be afraid of heights and be comfortable working on ladders.
• Capable of lifting 50lbs or more and hard physical work.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the proper use of hand tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license plus a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of home elevators.
• Participate in mentoring and training to advance to Installation Mechanic.
• Engage in full-time apprentice responsibilities, with opportunity for promotion within 3-12 months.
• Support team during installation and service tasks as needed.

Looking to start your career as an Elevator Installation Mechanic? The Residential Elevators Apprentice program may be the career path for you. The Apprentice position provides valuable mentoring, training, and hands-on experience to install high-quality home elevators. Residential Elevators is looking for an entry-level craft worker with experience or a passion for construction, manufacturing, electrical, or mechanics to work full-time at least 40 hours a week.

About the Residential Elevators Apprentice Program:

Residential Elevators will provide hands-on experience and mentoring needed to advance to an Installation Mechanic position. Successful Apprentices have the ability to be promoted within 3-12 months to a team lead with increases in responsibility and compensation during the program. Newly promoted mechanics are issued a company truck, cell phone, and equipment.
