Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group is seeking an Appointment Scheduling Specialist for Neurology Consulting in Dallas. You will manage appointment scheduling, pre-certifications, test scheduling, and patient communications with a strong emphasis on customer service.

The role is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, in a fast-paced clinic that values teamwork and professional patient care. Benefits include standard health, retirement, and PTO offerings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
• Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments.
• Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments.
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions.
• May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance.
• Gathers insurance information and patient data.
• Demonstrates professional customer service in all contacts.

Work hours:

Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
