Job summary

A healthcare provider in Las Vegas is seeking an Appointment Scheduler to manage patient scheduling through telephone in a Call Center environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, excellent telephone etiquette, and preferably be bilingual. This full-time position is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in an appointment scheduling role.
• Ability to work in a Call Center environment.
• Experience verifying insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments for all physicians and patients.
• Answer multiple phone lines efficiently.
• Verify insurance eligibility and referral sources.

Position Summary:

This position facilitates the scheduling of patients via telephone in a Call Center environment. Work is performed under the general direction of the Appointment Scheduling Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments for all physicians and patients
• Ability to answer multiple phone lines (i.e. external and internal routing requests)
• Overhead paging
• Verify Insurance eligibility
• Verify referral source

• Must have excellent telephone etiquette
• Call center experience
• Ability to answer in-bound calls in a timely manner
