Job summary

Rocky Mountain Health Care Services is seeking an Outside Participant Attendant to escort frail and elderly participants to outside appointments and assist during visits. You will document services in the EHR and coordinate with the Scheduling department to ensure smooth transitions.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience working with elderly populations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work flexible hours are preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: Outside Participant Attendant provides an escort for the frail and elderly participants for outside appointments during the day. Follows and fills out forms completely and neatly. Documentation is completed in a timely mannerCommunicates with Rocky Mountain Health Care Services (RMHCS) for outside appointments, as necessary, including ensuring that the participant is signed in/out of the center and appointmentViews email throughout the day to receive updated scheduling informationChecks in with the scheduling department when a participant cancels or no-shows an outside appointment to assist with department needsMaintains proper boundaries when dealing with participants. Notifies manager of any possible ethical or boundary issues immediately upon discoveryMust be available to work various hours to include early morning and late evening appointments.
