Job summary

SW Funk Industrial Contractors is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead industrial concrete crews on projects across Virginia and the surrounding region. This hands-on leadership role involves planning work, supervising crews, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safe job sites.

Projects typically require travel within a 4-hour drive of Richmond, VA. The foreman will read blueprints, supervise 5–10 workers, ensure on-time completion, and mentor crew members while upholding

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in industrial concrete or form carpentry.
• 2+ years’ experience leading construction crews.
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Experience with concrete forming, rebar, anchor bolts, concrete placement, and finishing.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel to regional job sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily work activities and assign tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
