SW Funk Industrial Contractors is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead crews on industrial and heavy civil construction projects across the Hampton Roads region, including Newport News, Norfolk, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Hampton, Williamsburg, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach. The role involves hands-on leadership, planning daily work, and ensuring safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of carpentry experience.
• At least 2+ years of experience managing your own construction crew.
• Concrete carpentry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in industrial or heavy civil construction preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.
• Strong safety awareness and leadership abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to meet company background requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced carpenter who can manage their own crew, plan daily work, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

What You’ll Do
