LA Sanitation (LASAN) is hiring 20 student engineers for part-time, year-round roles in Los Angeles. You’ll gain hands-on experience and a pathway to a full-time engineering career with the City of Los Angeles after graduation.

You will work on entry-level engineering tasks with flexible scheduling and some remote work, while also doing field work as needed to support critical city programs.

• Hydraulic Modeling & Pollutant Loading: Help manage how water moves and stays clean across the City.
• Data Science: Collect, organize, and analyze data to solve urban challenges.
• Project Coordination: Liaise between City, State, and local agencies to deliver programs.
• Sustainability & Justice: Support environmental justice and green infrastructure projects.
