Moderna’s Applied Technologies Co-Op in Norwood, MA offers a winter/spring placement from January 18, 2027 to June 25, 2027. You will work with engineers and scientists to design, develop, test, and implement automation solutions used across CMC Development.

Gain hands-on experience with laboratory automation, robotics, software, data, and systems engineering on a defined technical project with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or graduate degree in engineering, CS, bioengineering, robotics, automation, life sciences, or related discipline.
• Coursework or project experience in programming or scripting; robotics or mechatronics; laboratory automation; electrical/mechanical systems; data analysis; biology or lab sciences.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a defined automation, robotics, or systems engineering project under AT guidance.
• Support development, configuration, and testing of laboratory automation systems, robotic platforms, and related software.
