Amazon’s Modeling and Optimization (MOP) Team is seeking an Applied Scientist to design and deploy optimization models for Amazon’s global transportation and fulfillment network. You will work with scientists across teams to improve speed, cost, and carbon footprint while understanding business challenges and delivering data-driven analyses.

The role emphasizes algorithm development, data pipelines, and scalable tools, with a strong foundation in operations research and supply chain management.

Qualificações

• PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years of science/engineering experience.
• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Strong background in optimization, OR or related field.
