Amazon GDS-MOP Science is seeking an Applied Scientist with strong operations research and optimization expertise to develop production solutions for labor capacity planning across the Fulfillment Network. You will build optimization, statistics, machine learning, and GenAI/LLM solutions that power Amazon Labor Planning systems (ALPS) in centers worldwide.

• PhD or MS with 4+ years of CS/CE/ML related experience.
• Experience building models for business applications.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python or related languages.
