Job summary

Annapurna Labs, part of Amazon Web Services, seeks an Applied Scientist in Cupertino to advance a machine learning accelerator chip verification framework. You will design solving workflows, interfaces, and test content using formal methods and SMT techniques to stress-test the architecture.

Collaborate with hardware designers and verification engineers to ensure robust content, optimize scheduling and randomness APIs, and push the boundaries of pre-silicon validation.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or Data Warehouse.
• Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code.
• Have publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding for a custom machine learning instruction set architecture.
• Model correctness of instruction streams using first order logic.
• Create custom API's to allow control over scheduling and randomness.
• Deploy algorithms to ensure concurrent code is safely constructed.
• Create coverage metrics to ensure solution space coverage.
• Use novel methods like machine learning to automate content creation.
