Twitch Interactive, Inc. in San Francisco, CA is seeking an Applied Scientist to tackle challenging ML problems across creators, ads, brand safety, and content understanding.

You will build models that process user behavior, metadata, and user-generated content to power safer, richer creator ecosystems. You will lead projects with multiple scientists and engineers, prototype production-ready ML systems, and continuously experiment with new techniques in LLMs, computer vision, and model

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (CS, Math, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or similar) with 5+ years of hands-on ML experience (Bachelor's), or 3+ years with Master’s, or 1+ year with PhD.
• Experience with LLM model evaluations.
• Experience owning projects with multiple scientists and engineers.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow; cloud experience (AWS or similar).

Responsabilités

• Build ML products to enrich Twitch’s content understanding and help creators and viewers build communities.
• Design and oversee high-impact projects that start from customer problems and develop the right solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and deploy models into data pipelines and ML services.
• Stay up-to-date with ML advances and experiment with LLMs, CV, inference and evaluation techniques.
