Ashland Specialty Ingredients in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a Synthetic Organic/Polymer Chemist II to design and execute new product development strategies. You will act as a technical liaison to applications and marketing to advance products and solve technical problems for customers.

You will collaborate with process and production engineers to scale up new products at global sites, summarize data, and maintain lab notebooks per guidelines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry.
• Understanding of chemical principles, good lab skills, neat working habits.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills for multiple projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Creativity, ingenuity and initiative.
• United States citizenship or permanent resident status.

Responsabilidades

• Design, initiate and execute synthetic strategies for new product development.
• Function as a technical liaison to applications and marketing groups.
• Scale-up new products with process and production engineers at global sites.
• Independently summarize and interpret analytical and application data.
• Author technical reports and present results to internal and external audiences.
• Maintain lab notebooks and comply with company procedures and safety programs.
