Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Five or more years of engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of North American building codes and structural design.
• Experience with wood design or engineered wood products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary team player.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture.
• Develop innovative building and product solutions using structural analysis and testing.
• Apply IBC, IRC, NDS, and ASCE standards to new products.
• Plan and oversee structural testing programs.
• Translate technical data into actionable product recommendations.
• Collaborate across teams from concept to commercialization.
• Support code approvals and engineering guidance.
