Zusammenfassung

Ramp is seeking an Applied Science intern to join the team and own a project from start to finish, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex needs into scalable ML solutions. You will tackle problems in areas like credit, fraud, growth, or core product.

You will apply ML fundamentals, work with Python and DS libraries, and ship code that delivers real value for Ramp and its customers, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, CS, Math, Physics, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field with expected graduation Dec 2027–2029.
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, statistics, probability, and optimization.
• Interest or experience with AI and LLMs; ability to integrate cutting-edge LLMs into solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and common DS libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, NumPy, PyTorch).
• Experience wrangling data in modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, ClickHouse).
• Track record of curating datasets and building/evaluating ML models.
• Strong communication to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences and drive decisions.
• Bias for action: comfortable with ambiguity and shipping solutions quickly.

Aufgaben

• Own the ML model lifecycle from data exploration and feature engineering to training, benchmarking, deployment, and monitoring.
• Leverage Large Language Models to solve novel problems and create product capabilities.
• Apply deep learning, gradient boosting, or causal inference as appropriate to the task.
• Quantify impact via A/B tests and rigorous statistics.
• Collaborate with product and business leaders to translate models into actionable features.
